Private AI agents · self-hosted or cloud
Your own AI agent, running on your terms.
AI agent platforms are suddenly everywhere, and every week brings a new name. Most business owners don’t want to evaluate twelve frameworks — they want a straight answer: what should we run, where should it live, what will it cost to keep, and how do we keep our data private? AICG helps you choose, set up, and run a self-contained AI agent — Claude-based or open-source, in your cloud account or on your own hardware — that quietly works through the busywork while your team approves what goes out.
The pitch you keep hearing is real: an always-on AI agent can triage your inbox, chase your quotes, prep your bookkeeping, and write the weekly report before you’ve had coffee. What the pitch skips is everything between the demo and a dependable system — picking a platform that will still exist next year, deciding where your data is allowed to go, connecting the tools your business actually runs on, and making sure a person signs off before anything leaves the building.
That in-between part is what we do. We run these systems in production ourselves — the working tools on this site were built and operated this way — and we’re vendor-neutral: we recommend what fits your constraints, not what pays us a commission.
The problem
Everyone says “get an AI agent.” Nobody says how.
If any of these sound familiar, you’re exactly who this offer is for.
Every guide is written for developers. You don’t want a GitHub tutorial — you want a working system and someone accountable for it.
Your data can’t go just anywhere. Customer records, pricing, and financials shouldn’t be pasted into random tools with unclear terms.
The tools change weekly. New agent platforms launch every month; you need a setup chosen for staying power, not hype.
Nobody on staff can babysit servers. A private setup only works if someone handles updates, monitoring, and backups — without becoming a full-time job.
Demos look like magic; production isn’t. The gap between a flashy demo and a system your team trusts is guardrails, logging, and human approval.
Subscription sprawl is eating the budget. You’re paying for five point tools that one well-run agent could quietly replace.
What we set up
A private agent your business actually owns.
One coherent setup, chosen for your constraints — not a science project. Human approval stays on everything that leaves the building.
Platform selection
Claude-based agents, open-source frameworks, or a hybrid — we shortlist against your budget, skills, and privacy needs, in plain English.
Model strategy
Cloud API models for capability, local models (think Ollama) where data can’t leave, or both — matched to each task’s sensitivity.
Private deployment
On your own hardware, in your cloud account, or on a small dedicated box we spec for you. You hold the keys either way.
Workflow connections
Email, calendar, CRM, spreadsheets, accounting — the agent plugs into what you already use instead of replacing it.
Guardrails & approvals
What it may read, what it may draft, what it must never do alone — with logs you can audit and approvals your team controls.
Care & feeding
Updates, monitoring, backups, and a monthly health check — so the system stays boring and reliable after we hand it over.
Who it’s for
Built for owner-led businesses, not IT departments.
If you’ve been reading about agent platforms and wondering who could set one up properly for a business like yours — that’s this.
How it works
From “we should look into this” to a running agent in four steps.
- Step 1
Review your workflows
We look at where the hours go — email, quotes, receipts, reports — and what your data is allowed to touch.
- Step 2
Choose the stack
We recommend the platform, models, and where it should live — cloud, local, or hybrid — with the trade-offs in plain English.
- Step 3
Set it up & connect it
We deploy the agent, wire it to your tools, and put approvals and logging around everything that matters.
- Step 4
Hand over the keys
Your team learns to run it, we document everything, and a care routine keeps it healthy — you own the whole thing.

The Agent Fit Review.
In a focused 20-minute review, we look at your workflows, your privacy constraints, and your appetite for maintenance — and tell you honestly whether an agent setup makes sense, what stack we’d choose, and what it would take to run. You leave with a clear recommendation, whether or not you build it with us.
No platform pitch, no commission — just a straight answer.
Common questions.
Do we need our own server?
No. Many businesses are best served by an agent running in their own cloud account, using a cloud model API under their own terms. Fully local setups — where nothing ever leaves your building — make sense when data sensitivity or regulation demands it, and we’ll tell you honestly which side of that line you’re on.
Is self-hosted actually more private?
It can be, if it’s done properly. A local model on your own hardware means your data genuinely never leaves. A hybrid setup — agent and files local, cloud model API for the heavy thinking — keeps your documents home while sending only what each task needs. We design for the strictest constraint you actually have, not the scariest headline.
Which platforms do you work with?
We’re vendor-neutral. That includes Claude-based agent setups, established open-source agent frameworks, and local model runtimes like Ollama. The landscape changes fast — part of what you’re paying for is that we track it so you don’t have to, and we pick for staying power.
What does it cost to run?
It depends on the shape you choose: cloud setups typically carry a modest pay-per-use API bill, while fully local setups trade that for a one-time hardware purchase. Either way there’s no per-seat subscription sprawl — and we size the real numbers for your workload in the Agent Fit Review.
Will it replace our staff?
No — it removes the busywork around them. The agent triages, drafts, files, and reports; your people approve, decide, and handle everything that needs judgment. Systems built any other way don’t survive contact with a real business.
What happens when the tools change?
They will — that’s the nature of this space. We build on the most durable layer (your data, your workflows, your approval rules) so the platform underneath can be upgraded or swapped without starting over. The care routine includes keeping the setup current.
